Remembering Our Babies: Care Package Giveaway

This post is part of our week-long observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day (October 15th). We hope that you’ll also stop by and read Melissa’s story as well as come back for a special Worship Wednesday and Jeniffer’s Story on Friday. We also have a linky for you to link up with your own baby loss story…you don’t have to remember alone.

When we first started planning for this week, we knew one thing: we wanted to be able to give a hurting mama something special. Something that would help her as she walked this dark, hurting road. We were so blessed to have a great response from three wonderful companies.

Last Friday, I shared my review of the Healing Heart Comfort Kit from Earth Mama Angel Baby. We are excited to share this kit with the mama who wins! If you haven’t read my review, please take a minute to do so. This kit would be a wonderful, thoughtful gift for any mama who is grieving the loss of her baby.

In addition to the Healing Heart Comfort Kit, we are also giving away a sweet necklace that our returning sponsor and personal friend, Emily of I Am Blessed, designed especially for this event. This necklace is such a sweet reminder that though our babies are no longer with us, they will always be in our hearts.

Our third gift comes from My Forever Child, a company that specializes in “Keepsakes and Jewelry for Remembrance, Healing, and Hope.”If you have never heard of this company, you really should check out their website. They sell everything from ornaments to jewelry, and every piece is beautiful. They also have several resources, including information for family and friends and sympathy poems. My Forever Child is giving a few of their pins and charms as part of our care package.

This week’s giveaway will be run a little differently. While we would love if you shared the giveaway, all we will require of you is to leave your name and email address. That’s it! We do ask that if you do enter, you either plan on keeping for yourself to help with your own grieving process or that you plan on sharing it with someone you know who would appreciate it.
