Remembering Our Babies: Your Stories

As we mentioned last week, we are spending the week of October 9-15 remembering our babies, in observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day. To read more about our heart for this week, we invite you to read Jeniffer’s post here.

While we are honored to share our own stories with you, we also realize that you have stories, too. We would love for you to link up your stories of baby loss, whether you write it for this event or if you wrote it years ago. If you link up, we’d appreciate it if you would take the time to read and comment on the story before yours, even if the only comment you can think of is to say that you read their story and are thinking about them. If you’d like, you can also share our button (below), which links back to this page. Our prayer for this week is that it’s a time for women to gather around each other and just love on one another. You don’t have to remember alone. Thank you for joining us.

Above is the link for my story. I blog at Mama’s Diner re: breastfeeding but I blog at Waves Over Stones re: the loss of my baby. That is what started me blogging and reaching out to other online Moms. I am fortunate to have had my little Rainbow man this year.

Elaine, thank you so much for sharing your story. The linky tool had somehow gotten taken back out of the post after I updated it last night, so I went ahead and added your post to the linky now that it is up. I look forward to reading your story.

Elaine, I just had the opportunity to read your story. Oh, my heart just broke for you :( I’m so glad that you were able to see your son again and have a service for him. Thank you so much for sharing your story and remembering with us this week.

Elaine, God is so amazing, and it’s awesome when He shows us His love in special ways like yours. I’m so thankful that you were able to see Blaine again and that you have your Rainbow man, too. He is so gracious!

What an amazing story. I have to say that reading stories like yours, though they make me want to cry sometimes, gives me strength.
